First time using crypto escrow for a UK peer to peer purchase; I was a bit nervous. The workflow was clear, the funds stayed locked until delivery, and release was smooth. One minor typo in the on screen instruction, but it didnt cause issues.

"Worth the extra steps"
I used escrow for a peer to peer crypto buy and it felt practical. Funds stayed locked until the agreed confirmation, so I did not have to worry about getting stiffed. Setup took a bit longer than a direct transfer. Still, for the reduced risk, it is a good value 🙂
